The Background
A 76 year-old male (diagnosis arrhythmia and pre-syncope) was recently given a King of Hearts Express monitor to record symptoms of occasional dizziness and lightheadedness.

The Symptoms
Sinus arrhythmia with rates from 54 - 68 bpm.IVCD noted.

One month later...Patient experiences a "seizure feeling" in his head feeling like he wanted to "pass out". (Sinus rhythm with rates from 65 - 72 bpm. A 5-second pause was caused by high grade AV block. Tracing converts to sinus rhythm.

Patient sent to the ER. A pacemaker was subsequently implanted.
